The preliminary program for the Country Energy Casino Beef Week has been released and this years theme is Italiano. The event in 2012 will be held on the 19th to the 29th May.
Casino Beef Week celebrates the beef industry and all Richmond Valley produce, cultural, arts, entertainment, regional cuisine and cottage industries.
Casino Beef Week commenced in 1982 following a public meeting held to discuss options for an annual festival, since then the event has grown with an average of 20,000 people crowding into town on the main Saturday. this is an event that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
