Happening every Friday evening between May and October, the Palmerston and Rural Markets provide a great evening of family entertainment, exotic foods, jewellery, arts and craft, plants and more. There are in excess of 200 stalls in a new and vibrant central business district setting, with plenty of space for festive activities. Watch the children dance with the clowns to popular tunes and listen as the local disc jockey spins discs catering to all ages.
Come and roam the markets, experiencing the local flavour or marvel at the thousands of lorikeets in the trees at sunset.
