The Olde Forge Inn is a distinguished grade 2 listed building in parts dating back to the 14th Century. The historic stone built inn is situated in the centre of Curry Rivel, an attractive village surrounded by rolling countryside on the southern edge of Somerset.
The surrounding area offers many picturesque walks and wildlife/bird watching. Red Hill is a small field owned by the National Trust on the edge of the Curry Rivel ridge is also a local landmark providing superb views over West Sedgemoor and the Quantocks.
The Olde Forge offers a wide range of traditional and modern dishes, all of which are freshly prepared at the inn and wherever possible made with local produce. The menus are changed on a regular basis making use of seasonal produce. Traditional Sunday lunch is a specialty with a choice of free-range chicken, Glastonbury beef or Wessex pork.
