The Downs Motel provides an extensive range of rooms and self-contained units, located in the heart of Toowoomba, west of Brisbane. Offering double, twin, family and self contained rooms, with regular specials and cheap rates, the accommodation is perfect for business people, families, and sporting groups. Closest motel to City centre. Security cameras and BBQ.

Awards: The motel is the closest to the City centre (only a block away), and central to restaurants, City golf club, shopping centres, Cathedral function centre, entertainment centres, sports centres, parks and cinemas. Complimentary glass of wine with dinner at Settlers Inn Restaurant (great value meals, and only 200 metres from Downs Motel).
Getting There: From Brisbane, follow the Warrego Highway, which at the top of the range becomes James Street. After about two klms., you will see St. Patrick's Cathedral on your left. Turn left into Ruthven St. - we are 200 mtrs.on the right. From the west, turn right into Ruthven St., then as above. From the South (Warwick etc.,), the New England Highway becomes Ruthven St. as it nears town. You will pass the Homemaker Centre on your right (Harvey Norman, Bunnings, etc.,), then Macca's & Hungry Jack's on the left - continue until you see Freedom Furniture on your left. We are next door, just before Spotlight, and the City centre. From the North, the New England Highway becomes Ruthven Street as it runs through the City centre. After crossing James St., we are about 300 metres on the right.
