The Sovereign B&B is a 1930's cruising ship that has been transformed into a cosy bed and breakfast and café in Rochester, Kent. Permanently moored and very stable, this former passenger ferry offers a high standard of accommodation.

A wide range of rooms are available, from single, twin, double, family and luxury, all with ensuite facilities and modern comforts including TV/DVD. Special requirements are catered for whenever possible.

Fresh home-cooked food is provided all day in the Café at the prow of the ship, and evening meals are available on request. A choice of breakfasts is included in the price of the cabins.

The location, on the banks of the river Medway and within walking distance from the historic town of Rochester, is both very central and yet away from the stress of the town. An ideal location to enjoy fully the Dickens or Sweeps Festivals, or simply visit Rochester Cathedral, the Castle, Guildhall Museum etc.

Cosy cabins (lovely and clean) with TV/DVD and tea-making stuff and an en-suite which was really nice to have - no sharing! Really friendly owners, I was treated like one of the family. Cafe on board, so no hunting round the town for food and I was offered evening dinner too ... Read More
