    Wombat Cottage offers superb B&B & self contained accommodation in Narbethong, along the Maroondah highway, in the Yarra ranges, nestled in scenic country gardens.

    Accommodation consists of one queen bed suite; one studio king bed apartment and one queen bed apartment. TV and DVD player & linen provided in each accommodation unit. Apartments feature additional kitchen facilities, spa/jacuzzi and decked areas.

    Hot breakfasts & private use of two persons' jacuzzi on deck overlooking the farmland & mountains beyond sure will give you the break that you long for.

    Narbethong is situated amongst the beautiful Yarra Ranges National Park, in a serene natural environment and agricultural area. Wombat Cottage is close to lake Mountain ski and toboggan field, streams and salmon farms for fishing and the historic township of Marysville.

    There is plenty of bird life in the Yarra ranges. Kookaburra, Magpie, Mud Lark, Currawong, Black Bird, Grey Thrush, Pigeon, Crimson Rosella, King Parrot, Wrens, from dawn to dusk they sing, they fly and they parade. A scene considered by most guests as majestic.

    Wombat Cottage is located in the village of Narbethong, a 20km drive from Healesville via the beautiful Black Spur, 10km before Marysville and a 90km/90min drive from central Melbourne or Melbourne Airport. You could explore further to the true Aussie country town of Alexandra, Lake Eildon, the awesome mountains of Cathedral Ranges and the famous Yarra Valley wineries.
