South Australia's Yorke Peninsula is an easy 90 minute drive north of Adelaide. A dual lane highway takes you to Port Wakefield where you begin your journey west to the Peninsula. Bringing your own vehicle is recommended. The road conditions are good, and there is a lot to see with little driving between towns and attractions throughout the region.

Coach companies operator regular services to town on the Peninsula from Adelaide's Central Bus Station in Franklin Street. Hire Car companies offer special rates in winter.
