Monahan Estate is a boutique vineyard in the Lovedale area of the beautiful Lower Hunter Valley, specialising in premium chardonnay, semillon, verdelho and merlot grapes.
Monahan Estate has received a number of awards over the years. The property lies adjacent to the historic Gillies Bridge, and is bordered on two sides by Black Creek.
The vineyard cellar door has proved highly successful, and it now open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Prior booking required for parties of 10 or more.

- Awards
- Recognition has come with a number of awards: gold, silver and bronze. Their first gold medal came for the 2003 semillon, announced in the Small Vigeron Awards announced in Wine Wise magazine. Since then they have scored another gold for the 2005 semillon in the 2006 Hunter Valley Wine Show, then the top gold and trophy at the Hunter Valley Boutique Winemakers' Show.
