A satellite town of Bunbury; Australind is an historic village situated on the Old Coast Road within the Shire of Harvey.

On the Perth side of Australind, watch for the signpost on the left to the scenic drive. This narrow road skirts the estuary, providing good entry spots for crabbing or picnicking.

Scenic drive rejoins the Old Coast road after a pleasant meander of approximately 5km.

First settled in 1841, Australind has an abundance of history with many of the old buildings still remaining to this day.

Australind is bordered by the Collie River and Leschenault Inlet which are both very popular for boating, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, prawning and crabbing.
