The Coast Road: Travel along Highway 1. Perth - Rockingham - Mandurah - Bunbury (2 hours). Perth - Mandurah. The highway bypasses the town of Mandurah but, it has excellent cafes and restaurants which make it well worth the stop. Mandurah - Bunbury. Bunbury is a major city with elegant historic buildings also worth visiting. Bunbury - Busselton (1.5 hrs) Picturesque coastal town with waterfront cafes & restaurants. Bunbury - Margaret River (30 Mins) Carefully follow signs for Margaret River. Road Condition: Sealed. Divided road accept for just south of Mandurah dual carriage, here caution is required.

Inland Route - South Western Highway. Travel along Highway 20. Perth - Pinjarra - Harvey - Brunswick - Coast Road to Bunbury - Margaret River. Less popular route. Interesting rural scenery and towns.

COACH - South West Coach Lines conducts a daily service between Perth and Margaret River. Bookings Essential. Cost Approx $28. Perth - Weekdays Depart 1.15 pm arrive 6.08 pm. Weekends Depart 1.15 pm arrives 5.45 pm, or 8.45am arrives at 1.18pm. Margaret River - Perth Twice daily. Departs 7am arrives 11.20am or, departs 5pm arrives 9.20pm.

RAIL - Daily trips from Perth to Bunbury by Australind train. Westrail bus service from Bunbury to Margaret River.
