Black Jack Get-A-Way "Magpies Nest" is a cosy 3-bedroom cottage, which overlooks the Pekina Creek, home to majestic River Red Gums and plentiful bird life. This self-contained house is located in Orroroo and is the perfect family, couple or group retreat.

Magpies Nest is situated in a very secluded area and is well appointed, light, airy and peaceful. This cottage features 2 queen and 2 single beds, a full kitchen, BBQ area, log fire, TV, air con and has excellent views.

Located between Port Augusta and Peterborough, Orroroo is a quiet town on the edge of the SA cultivation belt and outback. Stay at Magpies Nest and experience the excellent scenery, ancient Gum creeks and historic towns in the Orroroo area.

Magpies Nest is an ideal place for that relaxing get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of normal life. In the mornings you will awaken to the magpies singing their morning song outside your window, then in the evenings, join them on the verandah with a glass of wine to watch the sun set while they sing you good night.
