Night harness racing is a spectacle enjoyed by thousands of Western Australians and every Friday night Gloucester Park turns on the big lights and the pacing action, with 9 exciting races, full tote facilities, non-stop family entertainment and three on-course restaurants.

Gloucester Park has been the home of pacing in WA for 74 years and has established a reputation as Australia's premier harness racing venue.

The harness racing season runs from 1 September through to August 31, with Gloucester Park hosting a major race meeting every Friday night and around 40 afternoon and twilight meetings during the year.

Every year Gloucester Park puts on the biggest and best New Year's Eve party in Perth, with harness racing, live bands, family entertainment and explosive fireworks just before midnight.

Each season over 225,000 people come along to the venue to experience the excitement and thrill of harness racing under lights and to enjoy the world class facilities and race night entertainment at Gloucester Park. If you haven't been down to Gloucester Park before why not book into one of the 3 on-course restaurants or come along and relax on the lawn with family and friends.
Opening Times
Gates are open from 5pm, with the first race at 6:05pm. Admission is just $8 for Adults and $5 Concession, with accompanied children under 16 free. Gloucester Park is located on Nelson Crescent in East Perth, just opposite the WACA.

Where else can kids run freely around in a safe environment whilst mum & dad sit back and have a drink watching the horses whizz by. I loved seeing hoards of barefoot kids lined up against the railings waving at the horses ... Read More (Date of experience: Feb, 2010 )
