Brisbane City Botanic Gardens are open 24 hours a day. This 19 hectares of land along the bank of the southeastern bend of the Brisbane River features ornamental plantings, ponds, lawns and a mangrove boardwalk.

The Brisbane Botanic Gardens are a popular spot for jogging, picnicking, walking, roller blading and cycling. Take a free guided tour of the Botanic Gardens at 11pm or 1pm from the rotunda located south of the Albert St entrance.

At night, the lighting effects are stunning with floodlit jacarandas creating simply beautiful backdrops to the cityscape.
