If you are in need a change of pace, fresh air, sunshine and seashore will do the trick. In just over two hours (140 miles) from London, you could be on the coast kicking your feet up in a lovely beachfront chalet located in Bowleaze Cove, Weymouth - "Overcombe Corner" for the windsurfing fanatics. Enjoy the plethora of outdoor pursuits at your doorstep or lounge on the balcony with a book and a great view of the Jurassic coastline and Portland Harbour.

Weymouth will be the sailing venue for the 2012 Olympics. For windsurfing lovers, Portland Harbour is famous for its speed course where many a pro can be spotted during Speed Week. For beachcombers, there are always exciting finds from the smallest of shells to crabs and more.

Down the coast in Charmouth, you may be lucky enough to find an ammonite. Any fossil found there is over 50 million years old. For ramblers and cyclists, there are absolutely miles of trails to be explored right from the doorstep.

Further Information: Situated on the south coast of England, Dorset is considered by many to be the most beautiful county in England.
