A nostalgic trip through the world of radio & television programmes. Like a Tardis, this fascinating museum is lined from floor to ceiling with wonderful memories of radio and TV programmes.
Thousands of items of memorabilia including toys, books, annuals, & games have been painstakingly collected along with over 500 radios from vintage wirelesses to novelty transistors, radiograms and televisions. Programmes are brought to life through scenes and displays including: a radio shop; Dr Who with Tardis and life size Dalek; a human size performing Homer Simpson and more.
It has featured on Channel 4's 'Collectors Lot', BBC's 'Antique Inspectors', HTV's 'Antiques Trail', Somerset Sound's 'Breakfast with Burgess's and contributed to BBC's 'I Love the 70's/80's' and' Richard & Judy' Visitor Comments: "Great reminders of childhood"; "You could spend a whole day here"; "3rd visit. It is so good once is not enough!" The Museum is open Wednesday to Saturday 12.30-5pm. Sundays 2-5pm.
