Bruny Island Ferry

The Bruny Island Ferry links the Tasmanian mainland with the pristine beauty of Bruny Island. The trip is approximately 15 minutes.

The car ferry to Bruny Island departs many times a day from the wharf near the Bruny D'Entrecasteaux Visitor Information Centre in Ferry Road, Kettering.

Cost is $25 return for a family car except on Public Holidays when the cost is $30. Prices are subject to change. Foot passengers travel free, however it's a long walk from the ferry wharf on the island to the nearest town.

Please ensure you arrive at the terminal at least 15 minutes before departure.
