The Lookout is a 2-bedroom holiday home located in an elevated position in Island Beach, Kangaroo Island, SA. Peace and quiet; no close neighbours - except wildlife. Relax, unwind. Contemplate the water, sip a coffee.

The Lookout is spacious and sleeps up to 6 in comfort.A queen bed in the main bedroom, and double bed in the second bedroom, each has electric blanket. Bunks for two make up the six. Each bedroom has a remote control ceiling fan and electric heater. The house features: fully equipped kitchen, R/C air-conditioning, laundry with front loader and dryer. The entertainment area holds: HDtv, DVD/Video player, CD and radio.

Shampoo, washing powder, tea, coffee, sugar and island honey is provided. But you'll need to bring your own provisions.

A veranda on three sides gives panoramic views of a huge stretch of coastline & bushes; perfect for al fresco dining. Just 200m away is a safe swimming beach. Kingscote, and many national parks are just short drives away.

Prices are based on two persons/night. 1st December to 31st January = $250.00 /night. Extra persons = $20.00 /person /night. 1st February to 30th April = $220.00 /night. 1st May to 30th November = $200.00 /night. Extra persons = $20.00 = /person / night. Linen (includes towelling, no beach towel)is provided free Infants below 3 years of age are free. A cot & hi-chair are available on request - also free. SPECIALS available from time to time. Check our hot deals. Dining out: American River and Penneshaw are only 15 minutes away. A small local shop sells basic items and fuel, about 2km.
