Heimat is the Swiss/German word for homeland and that is exactly how hosts Linda and Frank Pearce want you to feel whilst staying in one of their chalets - at home. Equally suitable for both couples and families with children, Heimat offers absolute peace and relaxation in a luxury (but reasonably priced) holiday chalet on a 40ha (100ac) property located in the picturesque Derwent Valley just 45 minutes from Hobart.

Heimat offers crisp country air, spectacular sweeping vistas, and a chance to experience the sounds of silence, native animals and abundant birdlife. Why not try hand feeding our alpacas? In the evening you may experience glorious sunsets fading to a starlit sky under the Southern Cross.
