Noosa River and Everglades

The heartbeat of the region, the Noosa River, provides the perfect place for all kinds of water activities. You can take guided tours of the waterways sytsem, or hire your own canoe or boat and explore for yourself. Check out the mystical black waters of the everglades or enjoy a picnic on the banks of the river. The river is also a safe place for family swimming.

Noosa is the gateway to the World Heritage Fraser Island. Fraser Island plays host to kilometeres of white sandy beaches, crystal clear streams, towering forests and over forty fresh-water lakes. You can only acess Fraser Island by four-wheel drive which you can hire from Noosa, or you can join one of the many guided tours that leave daily.
