Conwy Mountain offers spectacular views over the Historic Conwy Castle, the Menai Strait, Anglesey, the Great Orme and the rugged Snowdonia Mountain Range. The summit is a thousand feet above sea level and there is plenty of wildlife to view on the surrounding slopes, with wild ponies found around this area.

There is a six and a half mile direct return walk to the summit and back to Conwy Town Centre, that passes by many of the main attractions in Conwy before heading up through moorland and onto the summit. This walk can be extended to become a loop walk that takes in the Sychnant Pass; always allow for the extra time if this option is taken.

Nestled at the Summit is an Iron Age hill fort - Castell Caer Lleion. An impressive and accessible hill fort; protected on all sides by a stone wall apart from to the north where it is defended naturally, this hill fort was once home to as many as 60 roundhouses.
