Claymills Pumping Engine Trust is located in Burton-on-Trent. It was founded in 1993 as a non-profit-making organisation, designed to promote and preserve, for the benefit of the public, the nineteenth century Claymills Pumping Station complex.

Two of our four huge beam engines are operational plus twenty other steam engines and pumps. There also is a working steam driven workshop and a blacksmith's forge. Electricity for the site lighting was originally generated on site and our original generator is the oldest working electrical generator in Britain.

The site is described by English Heritage as "the most complete site of its type in Britain" If you are looking for a huge steam wow! factor then Claymills is the place to find it.
