Coriole Vineyards was established by the Lloyd family in 1967, in hills overlooking the McLaren Vale wine region and Gulf St Vincent. The area is one of Australia's oldest and best-known wine districts.
The vineyards date from 1919, late 1960s, and early 1990s. The main variety is Shiraz. Other varieties include Chenin Blanc and Sangiovese of which, Coriole is the pioneering property in Australia.
Not only is Coriole renowned for its wines, it also produces fine cheeses, olives, olive oils and vinegars.
