The Golden Grid is a popular restaurant situated in Scarborough, overlooking the picturesque harbour. The restaurant is spread over three floors and incorporates a nautical theme. The upper floors offer unrivalled views across the harbour and beyond to Flamborough Head.

The restaurant's speciality is fresh live lobster and all their food is freshly prepared and cooked, using local produce wherever possible. The Grid always has a selection of mouth-watering specials and puddings to accompany the carefully chosen and very reasonably priced wine-list.

The Golden Grid is open for breakfast and serve a full menu throughout the day, particularly popular are the afternoon teas featuring a selection of fresh cream cakes. However when night falls, the restaurant takes on a special character and is transformed to offer diners a unique experience.

From the instant my fiancee and I were crammed into a tiny space upstairs with what seemed like a hundred other patrons in 100 sq ft of space, we knew it would be bad.
