Wellington Lodge Llamas

Working llamas at Wellington Lodge is a fantastic place to go and discover this wonderful creature. They specialise in sales, talks, visits, training, and llama treks.

All of their llamas are trained to be proper pack animals.. From April to the end of October they take the llamas on long treks, taking everything with them so they can stop for lunch and unpack in a picturesque spot.

The llamas panniers contain fantastic home made lunches, wine or champagne, fruit juice, tea or coffee - others carry stools and tables, or tethers allowing the llamas to relax and graze whilst they eat their lunch.

For Visits & Talks the llamas have been into retirement homes, plush hotels, grand exhibition halls, museums, village halls they have even been inside chapels and churches. Using them for therapy is becoming much more popular in recent years.

Training courses give people the chance to benefit from our experience in training pack llamas since 1993.
