The Gymea Bay Amatuer Swimming Club was first established in 1961. This was the first club in NSW to offer mixed competition swimming events. The club has had members go on to represent Australia at the Olympics (Duncan Page and Peter Hatfield) and many others who have represented at both state and national championships.
The club holds handicapped races for all ages every saturday morning from October to March. Membership only $30.
