Minnamurra Rainforest Centre is a multi award winner of the NSW Tourism Awards for Excellence and is located within a 2 hours drive south of Sydney in the beautiful Jamberoo Valley just 15 kilometres west of Kiama on the NSW South Coast.

This rare rainforest remnant can be accessed via a network of elevated boardwalks and paved walking tracks. Commencing from the Visitor Centre, the wheelchair accessible Rainforest Loop Walk leads visitors through a diversity of rainforest types including subtropical and warm temperate rainforest.

Over 90 different species of ferns and over 80 different species of native trees have been identified, including red cedar and ancient giant fig trees. Minnamurra is home to at least 70 birds, 20 mammal and 11 reptile species. The Superb Lyrebird is a regular sighting along the walks and during the June and July breeding season the male birds can be seen performing their magical mating dance and chorus of bird calls.
