Woodend, at the base of the Macedon Ranges is 69km north west of Melbourne along the Calder Highway. The golf course is located to the north of the township on the slopes of an extinct volcano. It overlooks the town and east to Hanging Rock and other townships.
The golf course has 18 holes and is fully watered, providing great golfing conditions all year round. Woodend's signature hole is one of the most amazing par 3 golf holes in Australia. The 11th hole features a cliff top tee with an incredible 38m drop to an undulating green below.
