Giovanni's Trattoria opened its doors in March, 2007, and is very quickly becoming one of the most popular restaurants in Parramatta. The restaurant is Italian-owned and run.

Trattorias, as the name suggests, were originally places in the countryside where farmers stopped their tractors to enjoy a cheap and hearty traditional meal. Hence, Giovanni's Trattoria offers quality food at reasonable prices, and fast service. Staff encourage you to look at the Menu and Offers pages on their website and compare them with other restaurants, to reinforce the claim that Giovanni's is one of, if not, the most affordable Italian eatery in the Parramatta region.

Awards: Giovanna Castrignano demonstrated his culinary skills at "The Festival of the Olive" which was held at Elizabeth Farm, Parramatta on Oct 20-21, 2007. Giovanni was honoured as the only chef from the whole of the Parramatta region to be invited to cook alongside other celebrity and expert Sydney-city and regional chefs. See photo galleries for pics.

Very unpretentious restaurant with good authentic Italian food (not the creamy rubbish that is served up in the many pseudo want-to-be "Italian" eateries around Parramatta).
