Choose from the spacious highset house or one of 3 fishermen's cabins. These fully self-contained units feature gas bbq's and kitchen facilities. You'll find great fishing and surfing closeby.

These units are the only accommodation at Indian Head and provide the perfect hideaway for travellers of all ages. Whether you're after fishing or relaxing, you can't go past Indian Head.

Further Information: Indian Head is on the famous 75 Mile Beach on Fraser Island. The Units are conveniently situated behind Indian Head, with a track leading directly to the beach.
Location: Fraser Island Fishing Units are located at Indian Head on Fraser Island. Access is by 4WD vehicle only. Vehicle permit is required from Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Vehicle ferries operate from Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach to Fraser Island. Fly drive packages including 4WD vehicle hire are also available from Hervey Bay. Indian Head is on the famous 75 Mile Beach on Fraser Island. Guests need to catch one of the vehicular ferries to Fraser Island, drive north along 75 Mile Beach to Indian Head. The Units are situated directly behind Indian Head.

I stay in these units every year for a week and wouldn't stay anywhere else on Fraser Island. The views from the house are fantastic and at high tide you have the whole area to yourself to relax and fish! Walk to champagne pools, fish off the rocks or in the bay, wake up and take a short walk up the hill for the best over water sunrise or explore the island ...
