On The Beach in Urangan Hervey Bay, Reefworld is an all natural Aquarium that has been a local tourist attraction in Hervey Bay for over 30 years. The Aquarium is home to a large variety of beautiful soft and hard corals, tropical and reef fish, sharks and large greensea turtles.

Feeding times are 11am and 2pm and once you pay to visit the Aquarium you are able to come and go as you please all day.

Reefworld also have a tank that allows you to SWIM WITH THE SHARKS!!! Conditions Apply. Children under 3 years have free admission.

Ha. I'd like to see Amanda make an aquarium. I think they have done an amazing job getting it back up to scratch after the floods. My family and I spent a good hour and a half there, watching the fish, checking out the turtles, we got to hold a baby shark, an amazingly rare barramundi cod and check out the kick ass Coral, all for 15 dollars a head ... Lachlan (8yrs): I really enjoyed Reefworld because of the touch tank and feeding the sharks and turtles.

If your thinking of going to reefworld to the aquarium, DONT! it cost us $15.00 per adult and $5.00 for a child. It is one room with a few fish. There was a turtle feeding that was nothing more than some lettuce in a pond with 3 turtles ... Read More (Date of experience: May, 2011 )
