British Mountain Guides

The British Association of Mountain Guides was set up to provide a recognised standard to the highest level of Mountain guide in the UK. It now has over 140 members with aspirants working their way through the qualification process. All able to offer the best in assisting individuals or teams in their attempts on some of the worlds toughest peaks.

The members hold the highest internationally recognised qualification for instruction and guiding in rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and off-piste skiing and ski touring- the coveted IFMGA carnet.
