Inigo Jones Slateworks is possibly the only surviving example of a fully operational Slateworks in North Wales. It is located a short drive from Caernarfon and nestled on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, making for a great day out.
See craftsmen using age old skills and working machinery Watch as they cut, shape and polish slate slabs into products such as cills, coping, flooring, steps, kitchen worktops, hearths and various craft items.
Established in 1861 the workshop is a thriving local business, supplying slate products all over the world.
