Shoal Point

Located a short 15 minutes from the city centre, Shoal Point is the most northern beach of Mackay's Northern Beaches, offering the perfect shady picnic area with views to the islands, Cape Hillsborough National Park and the Hibiscus Coast.

Beach facilities include BBQ, public toilet, and shaded and sheltered area.

Shoal Point also provides excellent reef fishing; the more open sections of the beach are the spots for whiting, bream, trevally and flathead.
