Situated north of Sarina, delightful Salonika Beach is home to many species of native wildlife including the rare loggerhead turtle, sea eagles, echidnas, and the occasional seasonal whales and dolphins.

Salonika Beach is very popular for fishing and boating. Beach facilities include BBQ, great picnic area, shop, viewing platform and shaded and sheltered areas.

Salonika Beach also gives you easy access to Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal complex which is the largest coal export facility in the Southern Hemisphere, all of this can be seen from a nearby viewing gallery.
