Situated in McLaren Vale in South Australia, Wirra Wirra Vineyard was re-built from two remaining walls and a few slate fermenting tanks, by Richard Gregory Trott along with cousin Roger Greg transforming it into the handsome winery it is today.

The rustic character and charm of this century-old winery fronts some of the current, state of the art winemaking facilities. In winter a blazing fire welcomes visitors and in summer the ironstone walls shield you from the heat and offer cooling comfort.

Wirra Wirra Vineyards is a historic site, which was originally built in the 1890s and by 1903, was producing substantial quantities of wine that was primarily exported back to the British Empire. The winery has blossomed and now has a new ironstone barrel store and cellar door. A library is also under construction. For more information please vist the website.
