The Henry Lawson Festival of The Arts is held every year on the June long weekend which falls on the 11th - 13th June in 2011. The festival celebrates Grenfell's famous son, Henry Lawson, who was born on the Grenfell Goldfield in 1867.

With an exciting program that includes art competitions and exhibitions; a street procession, carnival and street stalls, buskers, and special events throughout the weekend.

Grenfell, birthplace of Henry Lawson, haunt of bushranger, Ben Hall and home to some of the finest heritage architecture in Australia, is a must see destination for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city living.
