See crocodiles in the wild with Proserpine River Eco Tour's WHITSUNDAY CROCODILE SAFARI. Our full day tour will take you on a nature exploration into the estuary region of the Whitsundays, including calm-water cruising on Proserpine River, home to over 150 saltwater crocodiles.

Also featured in the safari is a tour on our tractor-drawn, open-air, wagon train through a variety of habitats including the nationally listed Goorganga wetlands, water holes, pastures, melaleuca forest and salt pans. This region is home to many native species of birds, mammals and reptiles.

Included in the day is a barbeque lunch, plus billy tea and damper cooked on an open fire on site - and a demonstration of the traditional billy swing.

Whitsunday Crocodile Safari is a great family day out and offers a unique and memorable ecotourism, nature experience. The tour is fully guided and our local, experienced staff provide an entertaining and educational commentary throughout the day.

Whitsunday Crocodile Safari operates 7 days a week, and is an all weather operation. Vegetarians can be catered for on request at time of booking.
Getting There
Included in the fare is complimentary bus transfers from most Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Proserpine accommodation houses. Please phone reservations on 07 4948 3310 to confirm your pick up location and time. Pick ups commence from 8.30am through to 9.15am depending on where you are staying. The tour concludes at approximately 3.00pm each day and we drop you back to your accommodation by 4.30pm at the latest. We also meet the ferry services from the major island resorts: Hamilton Island, Daydream Island Resort and Spa and Long Island Resort.
