Coral Gardens Dive Site

The Coral Gardens at Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier Reef is a very interesting shore dive with a maximum depth of around 12 metres. The gardens were damaged by a cyclone in 1992 but have recovered remarkably since then.

This is an extremely good night dive site with all types of marine life. Night dwellers like the painted cray can be found out of their daytime hiding place.
