Cooberrie Park Fauna & Flora Sanctuary

At Cooberrie Wildlife Sanctuary, hand feed their friendly kangaroos, wallabies, and water birds with pre-packaged food from their kiosk. Get really close to their crocodiles in 'Snapping Alley', meet their snakes in 'Hissing Hopping Shack' and see their Lizards in the 'Reptile Pit'.

Their interactive animal show is at 1.00 p.m. daily. Cuddle a Koala for only AUD10.00 extra, enjoy their swimming pool, rainforest, bushwalk and barbecue areas. Their many parrots want to have a chat and they are less than 10 minutes from Rydges Capricorn Resort, 15 minutes from Yeppoon Beach and 35 minutes from Rockhampton.

They have 300 native animals, including Koalas, Cassowaries, Dingoes, Emus, Wombats, Possums, Sugar Gliders, Bettongs, Potoroos, Turtles and a large variety of native birds.
