Broadwater & Abergowrie State Forests both feature in this park. The park, located just off the Highway from Ingham's main town is home to the vulnerable rufous owl and endangered southern cassowary, making for interesting viewing if youre lucky enough to catch a glimpse.
Endangered rainforest lines the clear waters of Broadwater Creek, and open eucalypt forest dominates most of the visitors areas. Sit back and enjoy the cool air in this forest retreat in one of the many picnic areas.
Come here and enjoy several activities including camping, bush walking and set out walking tracks. There is a large grassy picnic area, with plenty of room for games, that's what makes Broadwater a great place for all the family. Visit the giant abbey tree and keep your eyes peeled for saw-shelled turtles and white-browed robins along the creek.
