Located centrally 41km north-west of Cardwell and 36km south-west of Tully, lies Murray Upper National Park. It is here where one of natures beauty's is hidden.
Murray Falls is a combination of rainforested mountains and tropical lowlands that meet in the attractive foothills of the Kirrama Range. Here you'll find large volumes of water racing over naturally sculpted pink granite boulders which make these falls one of north Queensland's prettiest sights youre bound to see.
Try the moderately graded 930 metre walk through one of the cool rainforest gully's and up into open forest, to spectacular views over the falls and Murray Valley. From the top end of the grassy campground take a delightful stroll along the river on a boardwalk, the first 75 metres of which is wheelchair accessible.
