Waratah Vineyards

Waratah Vineyards, located in Monto is the first commercial vineyard in the Monto district. Its here that the owners are producing a fine selection of award winning wines.

The first vines were planted back in 1998 and there are now 3.2 hectares of Verdelho, Viognier, Shiraz, Merlot and Petit Verdot on the property.

The Waratah Vineyards, cellar door sales outlet is located 15 kilometres from Monto on Gladstone Road, Mungungo - just past the Waratah Hotel. It's open every day except Monday 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and by appointment. They have three satellite outlets at Cania Gorge Big 4 Park, Cania Gorge Monto, Cedar Galleries Gladstone and Garden Art Gallery, Agnes Waters.
