Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve

The Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve is located only 9 klms west of Kuranda and is not your everyday wildlife park. It is home to exotic animals from all parts of the world and is also an important wildlife conservation & zoological reserve to the animals which call it home.

This amazing park has been designed to enable people of all ages to learn about and see exotic wild animals in action. Some of our animals you'll see here include the much loved 'Big Cats' which reside in man made habitats resembling their natural African homes. Also tigers, cheetahs, bears, white rhinos, hippo's just to mention a few.

This truly unique destination features three large wetland lakes to attract local wildlife and a vast African Savannah where you can witness lions face to face. Friendly, wildlife park staff can take you on Guided Tours, demonstration animal feeding sessions and more.
