Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Zoo

Rockhampton's Botanic Gardens is regarded as one of the best in regional Australia. Excellent specimens of palms, cycads and ferns are found throughout the beautifully manicured grounds. Some specimens are over 100 years old.

The Rockhampton Botanic Gardens is a tropical paradise and provides a perfect location for a relaxing afternoon stroll. The Botanic Gardens now caters for weddings, private functions and guided tours. The Rockhampton Zoo has animals such as monkeys, crocodiles and koalas.
