Inspired by the love for their cuisine, Maya Indian Restaurant's chefs Rajpal and Gurps have led the direction of Maya Indian Restaurant since 1992. Their dedication to the sharing and showcasing of Indian culture made Maya the most celebrated Indian restaurant in WA.

Maya under went a complete transformation in 2003 with a new-sophisticated look and menu makeover. The extension incorporated five different floor levels with a studio on the top level for Gurps's fashion designer wife Rashmi.

Being the winner of the prestigious "2006 Best Indian Restaurant in Australia" has ensured Maya's position as 1 of the leading Indian restaurants in Australia.
