Alderfen Fisheries

Alderfen Fisheries is a three lake mixed angling venue in easy reach of South Yorks, Humberside and the East Midlands. It is situated just outside the village of Wroot, North Lincs, within easy access of the M18 and M180 motorways.

The three lakes offer carp, match and leisure fishing on a day ticket basis. Night fishing is available on the carp lake. The carp lake covers five acres and is heavily stocked with commons and very scaly mirrors to the mid 20's. The specimen lake covers three acres, and is well stocked with shoals of tench to 8lbs, roach, rudd, large bream, perch and crucians, a float angler's paradise.

The match lake is our 40-peg match venue. It covers three acres, is 4-6 feet deep and it is heavily stocked with silver fish, chiefly roach and rudd with plenty of skimmers, 3-4 lb carp and large bream. There is a hard standing access road and car park, and toilets are provided. The lakes are set in a twenty-three acre nature conservation area.
