Established in 1921, The Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm is the one of the world's largest single commercial lavender farms, producing the finest quality lavender flowers and lavender oil used in the perfume industry.

Bridestowe Lavender Farm showcases a large range of lavender products including the very finest Bridestowe lavender oil and dried flowers. The cafe facility offers a selection of light refreshments with good coffee and tea.

Guided tours are conducted during December and January. A transcript of this tour is available in Japanese, Indonesian and German.

Further Information: Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm is considered one of Tasmania's most spectacular sites during flowering in December and January. The five week harvest begins in early January with the distillation and processing of the lavender in full swing.

It's a "gotta see" place in Tas. Don't miss it. Don't get trapped into the wannabe's. This is big and beautiful and very real.

I really enjoyed the beautiful vistas and the wonderful lavender food, although the flower is not in season right now, it was still amazing.
