Launceston Airport

Located on Evandale Road, just 16km from Launceston CBD is Launceston Airport. The airport services 8 main enterprises; Virgin, Qantas, Jetstar, Tiger Airlines, Tasmania Aero Club, Warbird Flights and the Royal Flying Doctors. Both Hobart and Launceston Airport are the only two airports in Tasmania to reach one million passengers per year.

Getting There*From Launceston city the drive to the airport is 14.4 km. Head southeast on Elizabeth St toward Benders Ln for 0.2 km. Turn left at Wellington St and go 0.7 km. Via right at Midland Hwy and continue for 10.7 km. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Evandale Rd and continue for 2.5 km. Turn left and go 0.2 km. Turn right and go 0.2 km to reach the Launceston Airport *There are 2 main shuttle bus companies that do airport pickups and drop-offs, The Airporter Shuttle bus and Serenity Shuttle Bus
