Seymour is situated on the Goulburn River and contains a great deal of heritage. One heritage site in particular is Seymour's Old Court House.
The Old Seymour Court House is now on the National Trust register of important buildings, and houses various commity groups. Mitchell Shire Council appointed a Committee of Managment to oversee, manage and maintain the building, and to improve it as a community facility.
Seymour Court House still remains and is now run by local volunteers as a Visitor Information Centre. The information centre creates a worm friendly atmosphere and our voluntees provide a professional service to travellers looking for all kinds of towns, places, attractions and general information.
Seymour is a centrally located town that is about an hour drive north of Melbourne.
Seymour has major attractions such as parks & wildlife, heritage train museum, army tank museum, home of the Seymour Annual Alternative Farming Expo.
