The Chapel Restaurant Lilydale

The Chapel Lilydale is a social enterprise initiative of Careforce Community Services - a not for profit organisation solely existing to assist people disadvantaged by homelessness, unemployment, physical and intellectual disabilities. All profits from The Chapel Lilydale cafe and special functions are channelled back into the local community. During the day The Chapel is a training cafe for the unemployed and other volunteers seeking work experience in hospitality. It also provides a warm environment for social interaction and re-developing regular work ethics. The general public forms a rapport with staff and volunteers creating a happy, friendly atmosphere for people from all walks of life. We also cater for all special functions such as corporate, weddings, engagement parties, birthday parties, anniversaries & dinner parties etc. The people who help to make a success of these functions are the clients, staff and volunteers all working together to create a happy event. The cafe is open Monday to Friday 8.30am -4pm for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Special functions are arranged by appointment.
